When you register for a course or workshop, you are reserving your spot. You will receive a confirmation email that your registration has been received. You will then receive a welcome email from TWR a week before the start of the course, and again the day before the course begins. In regards to payment, TWR sends a sales order at the start of the course, and an invoice once the course ends.
All TWR courses and workshops are taught live.
TWR courses are taught over Zoom. TWR also provides a Google Classroom for each course and workshop where participants can find all course materials.
Access to the Google Classroom provides participants with all course materials including PowerPoint slides, pacing guides, classroom videos, and other resources to support implementation. Participants can also access TWR’s free resource site at www.thewritingrevolution.org/book-resources for additional resources.

TWR provides a certificate of completion upon request. More information will be shared during the course/workshop.
TWR provides CTLE credit upon request and with the completion of a culminating activity.
There is an optional culminating activity that participants can complete. TWR also references The Writing Revolution book throughout the course and recommends that participants read the book.
TWR does not offer in-person courses at this time.

The courses and workshops are intended to be taken live. However, as a courtesy, TWR records each session and posts it to the Google Classroom where participants have one week to view it in the event that they miss a session due to an extenuating circumstance or if they would like to rewatch the session that they attended live.
Once you have selected the course you would like to enroll in, you should submit a completed registration form. Once you submit the form, you will see a confirmation on your screen and receive a confirmation email.
If you are registering multiple people for the same course, you can select “Add another participant” on the bottom right of the “Participant Information” section of the registration form (see below) .
If you are planning to register a large number of educators in a course (25+), please email kmaloney@thewritingrevolution.org for support.
Once you submit the form, you should see a confirmation screen. If the page takes you back to the form, that means your registration was not processed. Successful registrations will also receive a confirmation email.
Please enter the best approximate information so that the form can be completed and submitted. For example, you can provide your name and email address for “principal information” and your name or company name for “school district.”
Please provide the first 10 digits of your phone number so that it conforms to US format. If you would like to amend that to your correct phone number, please reach out to enrollment@thewritingrevolution.org and we will correct it manually within our system.
Payment is required at the conclusion of the course. Participants will receive a sales order at the beginning of the course, and an invoice once the course ends.

Do I need to do anything before the course begins?
Purchase a copy of The Writing Revolution book and once you receive the welcome email from TWR, check that you are able to access the Google Classroom.
TWR provides an attendance form for participants to complete and record their attendance for each course/workshop session.

Yes; the course attendance form asks: Did you attend this session live or watch the recording? Select the option “Recording” and your attendance will be counted. This is important to remember as earning a TWR Certificate of Completion is contingent upon your attendance.
TWR provides participants with a form to complete to request a certificate of completion.
TWR provides participants with a form to complete to request CTLE credit. Participants must also complete the culminating assignment to receive CTLE credit.

TWR sends a QuickBooks link with your invoice that will provide a direct method to pay via credit card. We also accept checks, ACH and ETF.

TWR offers a discount for schools and districts based on the number of educators that are enrolled in the same section of a course.
10% for 2+ educators enrolled in the same section of a course
15% for 10+ educators enrolled in the same section of a course
20% for 15+ educators enrolled in the same section of a course
In addition, the school principal and any district-level administrators may attend an introductory course at no fee with the enrollment of at least one other paid educator per free seat.
