Women’s History Month: Marie Curie – Article & Series of TWR Activities

In celebration of Women's History Month, this K-2 resource introduces students to the groundbreaking work of Marie Curie through an engaging informational article and a series of TWR activities. Students will participate in sentence-level activities and build foundational writing skills while learning about Curie’s contributions to science. The resource culminates in an SPO activity, where students practice identifying and eliminating an irrelevant detail to strengthen their paragraph writing skills. This resource is designed for K-2 students and is ready to use as-is or can be easily customized to suit your learners’ needs.
