Introductory Training for Grades K-2 educators

Who this training is for: Educators serving grades K‑2 over the summer

Prerequisite: None

This course introduces Kindergarten through 2nd-grade educators to the Hochman Method(™), an explicit set of sequenced strategies for teaching expository writing that can be integrated into any content area. Educators will learn specific strategies that build the vocabulary and language skills necessary for future success in writing. The Writing Revolution (TWR) faculty will present age-appropriate examples and techniques for scaffolding and differentiation. There will be opportunities to practice and create activities as well as receive feedback from TWR faculty.

Who this training is for: Educators serving grades 3-12 in any subject area

Participants will learn strategies that can be integrated into any STEM content. There will be opportunities to both practice and create activities, as well as receive feedback from TWR faculty.
