"Black History Month: Voices of Inspiration" supports elementary learners as they respond to the prompt: “Who inspires you and gives you hope for a better tomorrow?” The resource includes four optional articles featuring historic Black figures who have made powerful contributions to society. Students engage in TWR sentence and paragraph strategies to develop their writing and craft thoughtful, meaningful responses.
