Subordinating Conjunctions

Grades K-2 Grades 3-12
This strategy helps students write more complex, varied sentences while reinforcing content knowledge and strengthening reading comprehension. It also supports a written language structure that is often absent in everyday speech. Subordinating Conjunctions is the second way we teach students in both K–2 and 3–12 to construct topic and concluding sentences.
